Find the Japanese version, and you'll also get an OK cover of Eno's Blank Frank. Iva's always been a bit keen to remake/remodel/regurgitate his back catalogue, so the Ferry influence runs deep there too. I don't know if any of you read yesterday's New York Times, but there was an article about folks who think that their I-Pods read their minds (some for good, some for evil) and "Brian Ferry"'s name is mentioned. Personally, I think if computer technology to read minds was available, it would not come from artsy, happy Apple, but from evil, corporate MIcrosoft... - --Andrew in Chicago ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 27 Aug 2004 16:01:39 +0200 From: f2hb@wanadoo.nl Subject: Re: [AVALON] Name Check (mis-spelled) At 09:01 27-08-2004 -0400, AMeyersLD@aol.com wrote: >I think if computer technology to read minds was available, >it would not come from artsy, happy Apple, but from evil, >corporate MIcrosoft... >--Andrew in Chicago LOL that's correct! I could recall in past MS built in 'spyware' in their processors As soon as one logs in to the net, this 'spyware' made contact with MS MS declared it was only ment for marketing purposes as to trace where their products are sold for their records... 2HB ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 27 Aug 2004 12:37:22 -0500 From: MarlanaK@webtv.net (M.M.K.) In fact the other music was quite good. The DVD came with 2 discs, the second one with actual footage of John & people who worked with him.Of course drugs were his downfall & eventually he died in 88 of Aids. This brought about a change & testing among porn stars for Aids.
