Icehouse ripped off Roxy good and proper with Hey little Girl. This time,  
they've kind of done the decent thing, at least in their native Australia...on  
an album of covers named "Heroes" after the single and to give the project a  
theme, they've tackled A Really Good Time, as well as Heroes (various mixes to 
 cash in on the Olympics) and Loving The Alien by Bowie, All Tomorrow's 
Parties  by Velvet Underground and Berlin by Lou Reed, plus other tasteful lifts 
from  Talking Heads, Suede, XTC etc.
 
I guess if you mean to plagiarise, it's best to use the materials of those  
flattered by the sincere imitations?
