"Nightingale" stood out for me this time. It evokes the H.C. Andersen story. This could be the Chinese emporer, waiting for the nightingale to come to his window: Before the morning comes Will I hear your song? Come little nightingale I won't be here for long In fact, "Siren", the "little mermaid album", could have an H.C. Andersen current running right through it (not a strong current, no pun intended!). And - I just got introduced to Afro Celt Sound System last night. The only track I heard was the one they did with Peter Gabriel ("Falling"??), but although the visuals were stunning - I loved the music. Are they just as good without Gabriel? Cheers!~ H np - Midge Ure - I see Hope (studio version) On 15-Aug-04, at 4:07 AM, avalon-digest wrote: ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ End of avalon-digest V9 #210 **************************** ======================================================================== For further info, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: info avalon-digest
