No Roxy content at all. Hello All, Just switched the TV over to the World Bowls Championship from Ayr, Scotland. Not that funny I know but I spotted a young female in the crowd with a Slipknot t-shirt on! I laughed out loud and Mrs Stevie said "What's funny about bowls?" Its not often you hear bowls and Slipknot in the same sentence eh? (bowels maybe!) I started to picture the scene before that family left the house. "But Mum/Dad/Gran/Granda, I don't want to go to the f*****g bowls" "You're coming with us Jennifer, we've been looking forward to this all week, look the weathers lovely for it and mind your language. Just as well Gran hasn't switched her hearing aid on" "But Mum, I want to go round to Alison's to listen to Slipknot" "You're coming with us or Dad wont be decorating your bedroom black" "OK then but I'm wearing either my Slipknot t-shirt or my Jesus is a c**t t-shirt, you choose" Poor girl. Cheers the noo! Stevie Maybe it was just me then. ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 02 Aug 2004 03:23:56 +0000 From: "over pavema" Subject: [AVALON] RE: avalon-digest V9 #195 wasn't BF's 'the in crowd' also played over the opening credits in 'prelude to a kiss', with alec baldwin and meg ryan, where as the credits faded out, the song turned out to be playing at a party where the protagonists first meet? excellent first-half to that movie. dismal, creepy, heebie-jeebie uncomfortable second-half. or maybe i have it mixed up with 'no salt on her tail' by the mamas and the papas. same song, basically. o p >Date: Sat, 31 Jul 2004 12:42:47 +0200 >From: Daniel Atterbom >Subject: [AVALON] The 'In' Crowd > >The 'In' Crowd, as http://moo.vivaroxymusic.com/811 writes: " This >track, originally recorded by Dobie Grey, was released by Bryan Ferry >as single.
