The whole farrago has really gone way too far. Of course illness is no joke but to treat fans and casual attendees in such a cold, undignified manner is utterly appalling. How are people without the internet to know that he has cancelled gigs? What about people who have made travel arrangements, booked hotel rooms etc? Knowledge is power and anyone hoping to attend a Ferry gig at the moment is pretty powerless. This Doctor prescribes an immediate suspension of the tour. A break til spring(or later!) and a new album to get back on the road with. A new setlist might be a pleasing side effect. It might prove that he respects us as much as we like him. Probably not though...... It's amazing how David Bowie can admit defeat and cancel gigs in bulk and retain the respect and admiration of his fans. Your call Bryan....
