Inside there's a splendid piece on him which runs to 6 pages and features a double page photo of Bryan and his cars in the grounds of his West Sussex home, a full page photo of him at home with his pianos and a nice old black and white shot of him with his Studebaker Champion. The interview by Bruce Black is fairly in-depth and Bryan talks about his musical influences and his return to touring after the family years, admitting that he never considers how long he can keep performing (hooray!). He also talks of course about his love of cars. In the interview, Bryan reveals that he is currently commuting to London regularly to work on the new album, which will feature some new musicians as well as old stalwarts. He hopes the album will be finished by November but that may slide to February due to the heavy summer touring schedule. I empathize with Andrew (Hi Andrew) that our favorite musical artist is: a) rarely mentioned at all, anywhere b) represented by less than 5 albums out of --what-- 25? in any store c) new release not even on shelves yet, may never be - We should be more optomistic d) not touring here this summer SIGH I keep thinking about last year at this time when the excitement was here - the anticipation of seeing Bryan and the band at Jones Beach and at Radio City Music Hall (the former I attended, the latter I regretfully did not attend). Memories....... Regards to all, Eileen in Kew Gardens P.S. I am glad that Fotr your Pleasure is one of the best 50 Britisj albums in Q, but since it's better then Oasis at #1, it makes me wonder. #2 Revolver is better in my book as are 801 Live and the four re-released Eno albums. - -- Daniel ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 12 Jun 2004 18:12:47 +0000 From: "Tracy Connell" Subject: [AVALON] Dalby Forrest - Yorkshire Anyone going to Dalby Forrest??
