My impulsive instincts got the best of me and I purchased it. It starts out with 5 T-Rex songs. Interesting, but nothing remarkable to me. Then it goes into 6 Roxy songs. The first 5 with Eno. Amazing performances. Bryan was so animated back then, very demonstrative. He is sometimes the front man but is more involved in the playing, a lot of keyboards and even rythym guitar on one number. Andy Mackay looks so young and his playing was awe inspiring man on fire stuff. He plays the sax upside down once with the sax facing up into the air. I don't know if the crowd realized how revolutionary the sound was ( teenage revolution that is) or what a historic treat they were witnessing. I'm glad my impulses got the best of me this time. What impressions have others had about this performance ? ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ End of avalon-digest V9 #78 *************************** ======================================================================== For further info, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: info avalon-digest
