I Well, no one ever played at Taboo (other than the fool, and a bunch of great big fat ones they were too!), you'd just turn up to be seen. It was a kind of hang over from the Blitz days, but not as tongue in cheek, as by then quite a few of the original Blitz kids had gone legit and were making their mark on their chosen "professions" be it milliner, journo, singer, junkie or whore - or all five. It really wasn't the place for the likes of Ferry (although I can understand his fascination with its bizarreness) and certainly not Jagger. I'm amazed Philip Salon let the old codgers past the door - oops, I forgot, Philip Salon was the oldest codger of the lot. A lot of trademark atmospheres & an omnichord courtesy of Brain One, plus unlikely harmonica by Ferry and a very subtle piano performance (Good? or rather Ferry?). Some great twangy guitar in the middle before the key change. Chirping sounds as the song disintegrates, somehow evoking memories of Ladytron ending. A good idea: to use it as final encore during the Frantic tour. A bad idea: dropping this very track that stands out of the album by three to four heads.
