'Turnher away!' we cried fearing that the exclusivity was about to be rudely shattered. Noticing that somebody in our party was wearing a 'Mamouna' Tour Jacket (ok ok I confess it was me), she said 'but I have news on Bryan Ferry.' 'Come sit down dear, no sweat' we all suddenly cried, changing our scrooge like-tune. 'Give us the news, and enjoy a mince pie and some mulled wine dear.' What she then revealed I cannot say other than it left as all shocked, amazed and slighlty giddy. One member of our party had to be guided out of the restaurant shaking and giggling the words ' things will never be the same again.' Was it a dream? I leave it to the others who were there to make sense of it all.
