Duckwalk will be attempted as long as my back and knees allow. Students get in half price. The sharp-eyed may care to note that the slender silver stand my Synth-oboe-thingumajig rests on is a genuine piece of Fiskeabilia. Another bit of trivia which will either bring a smile or irritate beyond words is that the latest issue (47) of 'Thunderbirds' Magazine in the UK features a comic strip in which Lady Penelope (in disguise, naturally) sings (endlessly) her old hit 'Love is a Dangerous Game' to bemused hijacked sea-cruise punters, backed by some geezers who clearly escaped from an old video of Avalon, at least the ones who aren't the drummer with the grin and letters PT emblazoned on his drumkit. Sensibly, the liner is immediately blown up by the ne'er-do-wells, although not before the International Rescuers have saved the passengers (sorry - that's a bit of a spoiler) by stuffing them all into a pod. I believe that Apple Macs have a similar approach to music storage these days. A note of even more desperate trivia: my editor on the mag once changed my artwork featuring an oil tanker I'd named the 'Roxy Follies' (go on, work it out) to the 'Foxy'. Spooky, eh? It came complete with hair care product adverts, & boring intros. I also recently was given a copy of Sound Edit, a program for Mackintosh computers I have edited said concert and am willing to tree it to the list. 10 copies, first come first served. Trades welcomed, but not mandatory. The sound not half bad, and as no dates are offered my guess it's from Philadelphia on the Manifesto tour.(BF says "it's great to be back in Philadelphia") Which would make it March 28 or 30, 1979. My bet is the Tower Theater March 30, but I KNOW someone on the list will know. (Thanks to the Roxyramasite for those dates.) I will also offer copies of Sound Edit. Pretty nifty program, you can cut, fade in & out, & probably a lot more You MUST have a Mac, and be able to run Classic mode, I.E., pre system X (10), to use it. No need to tree this one as few wil be able to use it. Ask and ye shall receive. Trades welcomed, but not mandatory.
