Hi All A few Dittos from the Dundee / Aberdeen gigs. Lady luck was on my side again. started of booking into the Hotel in Dundee and found out the Band was there to. Started of in the back row, got a spare ticket of Mr Vivaroxymusic, J,O'B. 6th row. Fantastic, Not long before the start, having a refreshment and acquire 2 front row tickets from Collette, Super Fantastic. ( I cant remember whose they were, He was feeling poorly and could not go, I hope you are feeling better, ) Show started, normal setlist, 3 new faces since last time ( at first I thought Colin Good was missing ?, he was just a tad late, Bryan was ready to go into a comic routine but was saved by Colin rushing on stage, jacket half on ) . 3 new faces, firstly Louise Peacock on violin, unfair to say anything the sound quality at the front was not great ?, Seemed to be okay though, not quite as animated as Lucy, The Delightful Michelle John, on Bryans right, Bright and bubbly, seemed to enjoy herself, worked well with the other new face, Sharon ( Shaz ) White, on Bryans left, a great asset to the band, Shaz was fantastic and a sweeter person you will never meet. along with the golden girl of the band Julie Thornton it gives them a perfect mix ?. Mick Green was immense, the best ive seen him ?, Mark Smith also shone, and of course the Master, Chris Spedding, What a trio, they get better all the time, cant say much about Colin or Ian, I could not see them tucked up in the corner ?, ( from where I was ). T.G.P.T. what can you say about the best Drummer in the world ?. he seemed to enjoy the occasion, smiling like a little kid whom just got there first lollypop ?. Tokyo Joe with Julia was amazing. There was someone else to ????????????. Bryan, what a night ( even when Colin was late ) New moves. looked younger and fitter than ever, seemed to save a little for the second part of the show, and wow what a performance, roll on Aberdeen , (to follow) Aftershow (Got a backstage pass, Thanks ! ). strolled over to the hotel with most of the band, for a light refreshment before bed ?. Nicer people I have never met, thanks one and all, T.G.P.T. got his palm read by an Italian fan ( Maria, ? ) Jocelyn's mate ?????????. Her English was not so good and I think Paul was shocked at what she said. ( I was) The band went of to bed quite early,( working next day). With only a few left needing more refreshment ?. we ended up round a piano in the bar, slightly over refreshed ?. Monica had the best voice and a couple of people from Edinburgh, ( sorry I am bad with names, what's her name ????????? em the wife normally reminds me, but she was not there, Frances, that's it. I think ) Maria ( Jocelyn's mate ? ) who could hardly speak English, thought John O' Brian on piano was Colin Good ?, I told her it was Colin's Brother, Ferry ?, which made him FERRY GOOD ? which he was. Got over refreshed and went to bed, Went back to my room after breakfast to collect my things about 10am, held the lift for the roomservice lad who was taking breakfast to who he informed me the celebrity, Mr Ferry, he was only two rooms down from mine, I am glad I did not complain about the snoring now ? naw it was that loud it must have been next door ? Roll on Aberdeen Alan ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 17 Nov 2003 20:33:03 +0100 From: Daniel Atterbom Subject: [AVALON] In Every Dream Home a Heartache In Every Dream Home a Heartache can be used for many things http://www.citypaper.com/2002-11-20/film.html Daniel ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ End of avalon-digest V8 #317 **************************** ======================================================================== For further info, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: info avalon-digest
