Lawks-a-lawdy! Poorly thought out? The domed professor? Have you read his book/diary? The man thinks out why his shoe laces are the shape they are and why breakfast TV presenters are always gender balanced. Well, er, he probably does, as he misses not much else out... He may be naive, but I can't allow the suggestion that Brian Eno didn't spend much of his considerable brain power working on this to go unchallenged. Now if he could just form a collaborative allegiance with Arnie Schwarzenegger and Rob Lowe, what a cross-party fifth largest economy we might have and they could set an example of how we can all live together in peace and harmony, watching T3 and re-runs of West Wing while soaking in those ambient vibes! It's NOT on topic, so I do apologise but if anybody should be interested, please let me know OFFLIST. I think my setting the colour white as my background colour in my e-mail settings last night has affected the way messages get through and I'll be changing THAT just as soon as I get home. If anyone would like these bargian items I would be more than happy to buy & post them at cost. While on the subject of the vinyl replicas, I have them all except Taxi & Mamouna, if anyone can help with these let me know. And you do challenge in a very amiable manner, Richard. My stated opinion was formed solely upon the article in question. While Eno may be an inquiring thinker, it is possible that he did not give this writing enough 'brain power'. Of course, I may be totally wrong about that. - - Perhaps he consciously did 'lite writing' for the 'lite reading crowd'. If so, I can not fault him. I belong to a 'school of thought' where the seriousness of an issue demands treatment that is commensurate. In my opinion, Eno's article does not endure the critical scrutiny that a subject as grave as 'government agenda-driven propaganda' should command. "Now if he could just form a collaborative allegiance with Arnie Schwarzenegger and Rob Lowe, what a cross-party fifth largest economy we might have and they could set an example of how we can all live together in peace and harmony, watching T3 and re-runs of West Wing while soaking in those ambient vibes!" LOL - Amen to that, Richard!!! May we suggest piping Eno's ambient vibes worldwide in an effort to promote universal peace and harmony? Send White Light! Best wishes. But for audience recordings, I understand the quality isn't at all bad. So now can anyone who'd like to get copies of these, please write to me OFFLIST.
