For anyone who gets there early, I am going to try to get there by 7:15, I will be inside the venue, walk straight past the vendors and bathrooms on your left till you find some picnic tables (I remember there being a Mexican food vendor right there). I think the last time I was there was summer of 2001. Entrances to the arena (seats) are on your right. Hope to see some of you there! I seem to remember that anything you buy with a creditcard is covered (but I could be wrong). However the fact the promoters had gone into admisitration may have something to do with it. I'm pleased that you've got some refund though as I hadn't by last midweek. I'll check again tomorrow, and will certainly be pursuing it if it's not a full one. She said: Who? I said: Roxy Music. She said: Really? Are they together? I said: Yeah, they are playing five or six shows in the US, none of them here. She said: Where is it? I said: Jones Beach She came in the room, looked at the monitor, and said: Sure, go if you want. (We live in VA, used to live on LI) I said: Nah.... I don't even listen to them anymore. The show is going to be nothing but the same old stuff. She said: Too bad. I go to NY for a good show, saw the reformed Mission of Burma last year at Irving Place. Stellar. Worth it. I said it after Ferry last winter in DC... this is probably my last time. I won't be buying the live disc, either. SACD or not. For anyone who gets there early, I am going to try to get there by 7:15, I'm driving to Jones Beach and won't go through Manhattan so a meet-up at the venue works for me. I'll be there early too (knock on wood when it comes to traffic) so I'll hopefully see some of you there. Extended weather forecast is not predicting rain. Yet. And I'll see some of you at Radio City! Must go through my dresses.... Would love to wear a spectacular vintage evening gown to Radio City since I've never worn it before but alas, it's harder to get away with dressing up like that at an American show. I think it depends on the individual ticket agency. We've had tickets for cancelled shows before where the full amount has been refunded, and others where just the face value has been refunded.
