(The Crystal Ship is my > favourite Doors song.) I am in total agreement. This is a brilliant piece. I find it hard to compare and contrast Roxy and The Doors, Its easier to appreciate them both for what they achieved. I'm sure if Jim would have lived longer then he would have added to the excellent songs he had already produced. Maybe the best was yet to come. But I think it would have been difficult to top "Crystal Ship" Regards. I am stuck with 2 airplane tickets that day...we might go anyway to see Boz Scaggs play that same night in some weired jazzclub in London. I remember that guy from early 80'ies. Had a couple of hits. If the London weather is terrible that night, the failure is perfect. But....a couple of local beers and good company of an old friend should make it a night to remember. "We spend a couple of hundred quits to se some old-time-hero-semi-pop-jazz-guy, but when we get old , we will laugh our a** off". Next weekend in good old Denmark: Elton John friday and Simple Minds saturday. So still something to look forward to. Any roumours of any resceduling of the Hyde Park concert is extreemly welcome. We can still change the airplane tickets........... Stefanzanera, Denmark PS...Any meet-up place for lost Avalonians July 16th for the Boz Scagss concert? http://www.bozscaggs.com/ www.ticketmaster.co.uk ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ End of avalon-digest V8 #180 **************************** ======================================================================== For further info, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: info avalon-digest
