They are a weird bunch to behold. Ferry (naturally) hadn't got a clue who they were but Manzo impressed by asking if they "were the ones who dress in all white". Ferry likened their "Soldier Girl" single to Wizard and ELO, both of whom I can't abide, Manzo was a little nearer the mark siting the Mamas and the Papas, the music press seem to think Beach Boys and weird period Beatles. They're just odd, a real collective mishmash in every way. I'm convinced they're the escapees from the Waco disaster. Anyway give them a whirl pop-pickers and see what you make of them. The single's out soon, the album's out now and they're playing the Brixton Academy on July 4th.
