Just interested now that I started to take a course in sound engineering. I looked at my collection of pictures from Amsterdam but I couldn't find out the brand and type he used there. Anybody close to the man himself who might know the details perhaps? Greetz, Edwin ps. No way I'll go to London for the concert.... way too expensive for me! ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 17 May 2003 12:13:41 +0100 From: "Terry Lane" Subject: [AVALON] Roxy Bluenose I too am a Rangers fan so if any avalonians have a spare ticket for the cup final, please e-mail me off list. Has anyone got any thoughts on the setlist for the Roxy concert, songs I like to hear would be :- Pyjamarama Manifesto Grey Lagoons All I want is you We all know we are going to hear the usual stuff but a few that have not been played live for a long time, would be great. I should have added Praire Rose, I would love to heat that live. When I met Bryan in Newcastle last year he did mention to me he was a Rangers fan. See you in the Park Terry _________________________________________________________________ Stay in touch with absent friends - get MSN Messenger http://www.msn.co.uk/messenger ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 17 May 2003 16:21:57 -0500 (CDT) From: MarlanaK@webtv.net (M.M.K.) Subject: [AVALON] Re: Roxy , etc. Slightly OT but its slow so why not? Still music related. Someone mentioned the other day Johnny Cash, & how good his new CD. was. Just another older fellow reinventing himself. His wife June Carter Cash went in for a heart valve last week & she died yesterday at the age of 73. They did a lot of song writing together. The song "Drive All Night" that Celine Dion recorded was written by a great country singer but can't remember who. An example of how people are trying new ideas. Hope Ferry is taking stock of all this. He could sure let someone else write for him if he can't. It would at least be new!!!!!!! ---BTW KBP, When I saw Santana in Concert I was amazed at how he does what he does best ,Play guitar. No gimmicks just good guitar playing plus he has one heck of a band. Still good after all these years' Marlana........................................................ ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 17 May 2003 19:13:09 -0400 From: "Don Schultz, Jr." Subject: [AVALON] Off topic/Bowie-athon on BBC America FYI... @ the last minute: Going to slide this slightly OT bit of Bowie info out (got the *Glam* connection going here though yall)...
