Unfortunately it isn't available where I live, and of course, music is more important than bickering (for me anyway. All seemed well as support act Martina Sorbara went through her set. However, the audience were informed from the stage at 8.45pm that Doctors had informed Bryan that due to his acute laryngitis, he should not perform. > Regards, John O'Brien www.vivaroxymusic.com It seems strange that it took his doctor until 8.45pm on the night of the show to tell him not to perform. I would have thought that with laryngitis being diagnosed on Tuesday that there was little or no chance of the Dundee and Aberdeen shows going ahead. Sadly however a lot of people have had their time and money wasted travelling to Dundee when the show should have been called off at the same time as the Glasgow gig. Fortunately or unfortunately for me my own health stopped me from travelling to Dundee, however I have spoken on the phone to the friends with whom I would have been travelling and to say they aren't too happy is a bit of an understatement. I suppose one could argue that it was left to the last minute to cancel the show in the hope that he would not have to disappoint the fans. However with both of these shows being sold one couldn't be faulted for considering that the thought of having to return all of that cash may have had more to do with it. Perhaps if there are any singers on the list they could set me straight on some thing, isn't trying to sing while suffering from laryngitis dangerous in that it could endanger the voice for the future? It would be nice to think that the cancelled shows will be rescheduled when Ferry is back to full health, I suppose we'll just have to wait and see on that one, let's hope that we won't have to wait as long as it took for ticket holders for the cancelled US show to be informed that plans to reschedule their show had been abandoned. No it shows a remarkable will from Mr Ferry to go through with the concert. I think he was prepared to it up until the last minute. Cheers to him.
