There are a number of solo covers that simply go past me, I really don't register hearing them, so much so that I can't even name them, but Amazing Grace demands your attention in a bad way. I think that Stranded and to some extend Country life were the peaks of mark I. I do not care for much Roxy-related stuff between Viva! and Avalon. I still like Listen Now! though. I quite like She Sells though I think Andy MacKay is too high in the mix. My least favourites would be in chronological order: The Bob, You Are My Sunshine, Could It Happen To Me, Re-make/Re-model (LST version), Cry Cry Cry, The Name Of The Game, Goin' Down, I'll Forget More Than You'll Ever Know. I don't mind most other tracks in the Ferry/Roxy canon but can live without the above list. Stranger still when you consider that Bryan must LOVE ALL these songs to have bothered to do them. To say he's complex or dichotomous is a tragic understatement. By the Way, I like Goin Down a lot, and yet I HATED the original version. Go figure. I just think it's a very pleasant driving song. Baby Blue ranks among the songs I really don't like.
