Here is an OT posting. Those who are offended by this: stop reading now, do not complain, do not read pass this point. Do do not pass Go. Do not -- you know the rest. Late night with Kristian Luuk is one of Sweden's top TV chat shows. Divas on the show have included Madonna, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Posh Spice Victoria Beckham, Whitney Houston, Kylie etc. Of these Whitney Houston had a cold and coughed medicine on the host. Madonna, when introduced to that host bearing the first name Christian (spelled with a K), replied "I'm Jewish" --a surprise for me at least. J Lo was a pain in the ass with a big entourage that fuyssed and pampered and lots of demands, like a dressing room in white, in a raider. In contrast to the Swedish crown princess and future queen Victoria, age 25, who showed up by herself, no written demands and bodyguards discreetly in the background. She asked in person, with low voice, if she could have a coup of tea and a sandwich. The prime minister of Sweden said, correctly, to the host: you're star of the show, I am just second banana. Bruce Springsteen stayed afterwards and chatted with the other guest, a great Swedish actor. Wyclef gave the host a "pimp coat", Not related, by Ferry-related: A respected former newspaper editor died in his 80's and at the funeral this week they played As time goes by. It's a shame Ferry doesn't go to the south, both for his fans sake and for his. The south is so full of old history and style, early jazz and blues, old architecture, great food and drinks, even the kudzu is cool. Based on what I hear about Ferry, I think he would enjoy that intriguing part of the U.S.A. I know I did. Hell. I sound like a travel agent.
