Essentially the March tour with one or two exceptions is designed to have us playing at towns and venues we haven't played over the last 3 years. It is an opportunity to re-introduce Bryan to certain parts of the country which haven't seen him live. The set list will be broadly the same but we are trying to look at adding a couple of new songs time permitting. *********************************************************************** without including the dates, philly's not on there. so, whether someone from ferry's yesmen camp has contacted the keswick, i doubt it's going to go on. but just my opinion ... so, anyone *flying down to riooooo*? oh, and in the 'nanner-nanner' category: i know what the ATAP/AMA2 grand prix is ... but i'm not gooiiing to telllll you! though i'd be happy to give out hints. whether said hints will help you is another question. anyway ... what could it be?? ooh-ooh ... do you think you know?? ms _______________________________________________________________ Get the FREE email that has everyone talking at http://www.mail2world.com ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon Avalonians on tour 2002: http://helios.unive.it/~tcecilia/meetup.html US ticket sale info: http://www.thewebgal.com/roxymusic/ (updated weekly) ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 18 Jan 2003 16:07:48 -0500 From: KB Porter Subject: Re: [AVALON] Quizzed, Again "oh, and in the 'nanner-nanner' category: i know what the ATAP/AMA2 grand prix is ... but i'm not gooiiing to telllll you! though i'd be happy to give out hints. whether said hints will help you is another question. anyway ... what could it be?? ooh-ooh ... do you think you know??" Neave said experiments involving brain scans had shown that people shown an image of the object of their affections had the same neurological responses as those high on illicit substances. 'Bryan Ferry was right,' he says. 'Love is the drug'." ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon Avalonians on tour 2002: http://helios.unive.it/~tcecilia/meetup.html US ticket sale info: http://www.thewebgal.com/roxymusic/ (updated weekly) ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 18 Jan 2003 23:39:59 -0800 From: "Karin Whitney" Subject: [AVALON] RE: Country Life look-a-like Has anyone on the list noticed the opening of the BBC show "What Not To Wear" and most especially its American counterpart(the first segment which aired on the Style channel this evening)that shows two young attractive women, naked from the waist up, with their hands covering their nipples? A Roxy Music "Country Life" steal/copy if ever I saw one. Thirty years later and still setting style trends for millions of viewers.
