There also was a smaller version done, which I also have, let me know if you have one too I will post the total that we know about on the list later Regards, Mark ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon Avalonians on tour 2002: http://helios.unive.it/~tcecilia/meetup.html US ticket sale info: http://www.thewebgal.com/roxymusic/ (updated weekly) ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 10 Jan 2003 07:02:34 -0600 From: "Jas" Subject: [AVALON] Alphaville Hi Folks: I think I missed this on earlier posts, but could some refresh me with why Alphaville was not released? Or will it in some form(s)? You can e-mail me off the list as to not distract from whatever the current topic is. Must keep current you know.............. You folks in the UK and Europe are lucky. Bryan will be touring again, but the chances of him coming back to Chicago for the same are very slim, unless........... no just wishful thinking. Check it out if you are not already aware. A number of 70's band's music feature. But more importantly it contains fair versions of 2HB ,Ladytron, Bitters End, Bitter Sweet - -,mainly by Venus on Furs featuring Andy McKay. Also featured is Virginia Plain by Roxy Music. Eno's Baby's on Fire and Needle in the Camel's Eye,also Dead Finks and Fat Lady of etc appear. Credits at the end of the film to BF and Eno. Well worth the money I think. Has Anyone else purchased this? Hi folks. I've booked mine. Like JFRoxy a frustrating day trying to book to ensure good seats - only to find this ex-cinema is standing only in the "stalls". A few points to bear in mind: The rush for tickets is now a rush to obtain a good spot on the night (when can we get in?) Booking fees with ticketweb were a whopping 17% of face value. This appears to be the first event booked for this venue. Hope there are no teething troubles. Tickets obtainable 24hrs on 08700 600 100 or www.ticketweb.co.uk Enjoyed the Glasgow meeting at Christmas (although it was a wee bit subdued by the usual standards). Still hoping to make AMA2 (and maybe Dundee). At the very least see some of you on March 27th Regards.
