Or are we to be treated to a Vatican 'frock' rehearsal? And perhaps more intriguingly, will Wossy go down his usual tiresome school-boy sex-obsessed route and attempt to make a chump out of our man and his alleged lastest flame - or will he be on his best behaviour and stick to the usual pit pony/Uni trail? As Roger Moore's on, the old chestnut about Bry being approached for the JB role will likely get a brief mention ..not much to say really is there? Could be the most interesting TV interview ever! Then again...... Just got a sneaky feeling that Bry may live to regret it ...then all publicity is 'good' as they say. Might shift a few CD's on Saturday........ JR announced this weeks guestlist at the end of the last show, he said "Bryan Ferry will be playing live for us!" - this got quite a good reation from the audiance. Having said that, JR does tend to have at least a quick chat to all guests (inc. musical), even if its only a minute or so before they play their new release. - Here's hopeing! Love it to death. First Roxy song I ever heard 20+ years ago. Bought Avalon but for some reason the album just didn't click with me. 20 years ago I was a teenager listening to either hard rock or new wave. Very naive. I dumped the album but I held on to the song MTT on a tape I made of singles all these years. When I purchased a BMW in 2001 that had a CD player rather than a tape I decided I wanted to hear MTT in my new car so I bought Street Life figuring I'll give it a chance again. Low and behold this time a fan of Roxy and Ferry immediately. I now think I'm a complete idiot for robbing myself of the chance to be a Roxy/Ferry fan for the last 20+ years. Then another heartbreak of learning about the Roxy reunion the day after it passed through my state. Idiot. So it was with great pleasure that I saw Bry in San Francisco a couple weeks ago. I saw some bad reviews but dismissed them quickly because for me it was a magical night. Very bummed that MTT and Avalon aren't on the Video compilation. Anyone know how I can get a copy of those videos?(don't care that some of you think the videos aren't good. I still want to see for myself). I love being on this Avalon list now and look forward to more Bryan and another Roxy show someday....with Jobson-his solo album Zinc is one of my favorites. Hey did anyone see Rod Stewart on the American cable show A & E? Bryan's versions of the old classics are far superior by far. Mike Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable.
