If you click on the link below, I think this will explain it.I know this will be of particular interest to those in Chicago. I'm asking all Avalonians in the immediate Chicago are to FLOOD XRT with "requests" for airplay in the next couple of days. Not just the "hits" but with the "obscure" cuts not currently being played. Let the DJ's(Hemmert, Marker, Skafish, et al) and those stupid interns know that Bryan and Roxy has real fans out there and we want to hear more than what they get think we want to hear. I will be asking for Hiroshima and Just Like You to name a few. Oh yeah( sorry), there is also something on this link about another well known artist of note who had figured in the latest debates on this list. Very timely I thought ( oops). I wonder if I can get a job on Bryan's PR team. My hunch is that Eno's definition of "screwy" is slightly different than everyone else's. ;-) But that article (an enjoyable read -- thanks for passing it along, EracerX) reminded me of the media skepticism surrounding Eno's refusal to join the reunion tour. Bryan's claim that performing live didn't interest Eno rings all the more true -- given the rigidity of the set list on that tour, it's precisely the sort of thing that would have bored him to tears. And I don't think Bryan was interested in seeing what sort of "happy accidents" could result if each player assumed some different, random role each night. Bryan Ferry" debate in a few weeks, when she sees them both within 3 days of each other) ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon Avalonians on tour 2002: http://helios.unive.it/~tcecilia/meetup.html US ticket sale info: http://www.thewebgal.com/roxymusic/ (updated weekly) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 3 Oct 2002 12:28:47 -0700 (PDT) From: Aleks Kocan Subject: Re: [AVALON] More songs added "More than this" and "Shame, shame, shame" - sounds like good additions.
