Remember, Mr. Ferry has publicly said, "There will be no divorce" due to their 'religious affiliations and backgrounds'. Now, Mrs. Ferry has presumably spoken of her desire with respect to her marriage. The future will hold what it holds: divorce or not, the Ferrys relationship is a convenience and a convention of family and society. How they chose to conduct this facet of their personal relationship is not very relevant to future discussion, nor is it terribly interesting. The damage is already done! Many an artist, many a genius, were and are, not particularly great people. Most were and are, deficient in personal relationships, common sense and more. The artist IS NOT la personne en totale! I believe, Leonardo da Vinci was a vastly superior 'artist'. Also, Michelangelo, Shakespeare, Dante, Virginia Woolf, Kafka, D.H.Lawrence, Plato, Beethoven, Mozart, Tchaikowsky, Wagner, Thomas Jefferson, Voltaire, Einstein, ... The greatest artist of all time? In my opinion - The Creator!!! Now, how's that for innanity? :) ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon Avalonians on tour 2002: http://helios.unive.it/~tcecilia/meetup.html US ticket sale info: http://www.thewebgal.com/roxymusic/ (updated weekly) ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 20 Aug 2002 18:21:07 +0000 From: "M. OK, I'm ticked off... I just checked out www.ticketmaster.ca. Ferry tickets are onsale already if you're a "Circle of Friends" member. I haven't figured out what that is yet - but if you're not - then public presale is September 20th. Oh - and "House of Blues" is the promoter in Toronto. And - apparently our Bry classes as "Jazz and Blues" in Ticketbastard parlance. If I find out a password I will post it here. And if anyone else finds out the "Circle of Friends" password please post it. I hate these "special offers". Usually they're for season's tickets holders. People who don't give a (insert favourite 4 letter word here) who this person is, as long as they have a good seat. They will then proceed to sit and talk through most of the performance. Note to M - now we know who get the good seats in Canada, eh!? ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon Avalonians on tour 2002: http://helios.unive.it/~tcecilia/meetup.html US ticket sale info: http://www.thewebgal.com/roxymusic/ (updated weekly) ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 20 Aug 2002 22:53:53 -0400 From: "Helen Thorpe" Subject: [AVALON] Very slight update on Circle of Friends...
