I am Actually, they sell tickets to their shows via tickets.com; only shows booked via I.M.P. are sold via ticketmaster.com. Neither ticket outlet nor the the club's website list the shows yet--this is not unusual and no reason to worry. The 9:30 Club is an excellent venue for shows; Mr. Ferry was superb there last time round, and I'm looking forward to seeing him there again. As "Country Life" loomed I was an avowed Roxy/Ferry fan and was eagerly anticipating their next move. And what a move. "All I want is You" is a classic pop song. A true love song , the lyrics reflecting Ferry's obsession with heartbreak and romance being so closely interlinked. And its a storming performance that the band put in, both on record and in their previously mentioned TV appearances - Thompson, Manzanera and Ferry especially with high camp added into the mix. Roxy Music then delivered "Country Life" to a Britain in the middle of industrial unrest, power cuts and 3-day weeks and showed us their Art in its grandiose magnificence. (eh?) Reecey's already posted passionately on this song and I can't quite match his thrilling eloquence but the memory of those vintage, adolescent years lingers on. All I Want is You is a great song. Lots of very unique things going on in it, starting with the great bells at the beginning, some simple but innovative straight lines of guitar (don't shoot me if I'm wrong and it's synth) and just a lot of unique instrumentation. Overall, I think the vocals, lyrics and mood of it harken back to FYP, very camp. I wouldn't have given it much of a chance 15 years ago, but in my opinion, Country Life has aged very well indeed, and I find my list of Roxy classics expanding to include it and Flesh and Blood.
