I wasn't aware of any shaking. I was hypnotized by those dreamy eyes of his and his usual body moves. I wish Leno would have talked to him a bit but as it was the show ran over its usual time; thank goodness I taped it on 2 VCRs so I got all of it on mine. Well it's time to watch it a few times as I get ready for my day at work! Regards to all! As expected, nothing new, they didn't even take the chance to use a longer version of MOP from the Horoscope sessions. No photos of Kevin Spacey, though. Let's see if it will sell some copies in Germany, since it has been performed on 'Wetten, dass...?' (shudder!). The presenter, Thomas Gottschalk, seems to be quite a fan of Bryan. Superb! Colin Good's piano playing perfectly underscored the sweet and delicate nature of "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right". Mr. Ferry's harmonica playing is always a soothing complement, too. I was very pleasantly surprised at how well BF's voice sounded (I'm certain the song was not mimed.), very pleased at its softness and on key pitch. DTT,IAR really is a great cover vehicle for him! Yes, I agree - pity Jay Leno didn't save at least three minutes for some talk, but at least Bryan Ferry did get on national television, the exposure should be positive. Perhaps when the tour comes to the United States, we will be treated to further TV performances. Viva, Bryan Ferry!!! I looked for any shaking but didn't see any. I think what you may have seen was the shadow of the microphone cord shaking across his hand. For a moment, it did look like his hand he was shaking until I looked further. Throughout the rest of the song, he didn't seem to be shaking save for his had movements on the harmonica. At least, that was my take on what I saw. I might add that I've never seen him up close in person but with the Hi Def broadcast, he looked great. His hair was nicely layered with a dry, almost fluffy look. Different from the darker colored, "wet" look so many of his pictures portray. Just my observation...not my intention to start a new thread on his hair mind you! It's either ancient material like Love Is The Drug on Letterman in 94 or a cover song like he performed on Leno just the other night. Is he making a statement? He seems to think his original recent material isn't worthy of a TV broadcast. Cruel or Nobody Loves Me would have been a much better promotional tool for this album. His selection was very disapointing to me. And yes, I thought he looked either very nervous or the man has the shakes. I hope it was nerves.
