Of course it was also the time of Rock Follies and there were a couple of segments of recent interviews with Andy and the lyricist talking about the background of some of the songs. The programme makers clearly thought it was an important series of the time. A bit after the event I know but I thought you'd be interested. Also we would never have had the live Eddie, If there is something? from Viva! and to me the most thrilling expirience of Eddie with his Crystal Violin playing the opening to Whirlwind at the Bingley Hall Birmingham 1975. I think both men played thier part on the first 5 albums. Bryan at the time was far too controlling to keep Eno in the group, Eddie was the perfect antidote to a difficult problem. I had noticed a juggler working the crowd as we awaited the warm-up band. Thinking nothing of it, I mildly enjoyed watching him flip and catch numerous balls with great skill. As the lights of the arena dimmed, a small group of musicians came on stage, seemingly from out of the audience. It was a rather non typical entrance, amusing in its own way. Time passed quickly, and then the stage was empty for a short time. Many matches were light, illuminaries shining brightly providing processional escort for the expected headliner. More matches lit, smoke rising through the air, the black stage erupted with blazing lights. And there was Little Feat. The crowd, ecstatic, I noticed a mirror behind the band where the Juggler was in reflection. The bass player disappeared, and there was the Juggler playing bass. The drummer became the Juggler. Each band member was being replaced by the Juggler whose image was reflected about the stage! I soon realized there had never been a band on stage, there was only One Player - the Juggler - he played all the parts, was every single performer on show that evening. Stunned, I was watching 3D in two dimensions! When the person in the seat to my left leaned close to me and remarked, "It's marvelous isn't it?", I turned and looked into his eyes realizing He was the Juggler. We know him as Mr. Creevy, the creator. And until he explained everything, taking me into his confidence concerning the nature of reality, I only thought I was hallucinating. Now I am able to confirm M's story. Bryan Ferry is, in essence, Roxy Music. But he is not Roxy Music. Mr. Creevy has created each and every one! He is the Juggler of the solar system, the Prime Mover of the expanding universe. There is only One. And We are It! Also, J O'B scored the first goal for the U.S. against Portugal in the World Cup! Just another small feat for Mr. Creevy. (Cheese and salsa, hmmm. Spiced programmers and listeners - it's worth a try, Judy! Thanks!) Over, and out. IMO, mr. ferry had him on *quite* a short leash. plus witness the sarah brown vocals avalanching directly on top of the first third of his solo on 'MOL' - and never letting up. i'd say he pretty much earned his keep with the blistering solos on 'BEB' w/manzanera. i mean - what's a dog to do when he's got to wait for _the ferry nod_ before he can leave the porch?? cut him some slack - jeez. peaces/ms _______________________________________________________________ Get the FREE email that has everyone talking at http://www.mail2world.com<-----Original Message-----> >SPOOF ALERT! >Roxy Music: Not Flesh + Blood! >By M > >England - A middle-aged inventor named Mr. Creevy finally revealed that he >has built numerous androids who have masqueraded as real human beings.
