But this year I'm going to see Bryan Ferry and it's HIS music, original & covers I want to hear. So call me cynical but I've seen Peter Gabrial live, he never plays Genesis songs, perhaps he believes more in his own material and doesn't just take the easiest route to get aplause. I was blinded for 3/4 of the show cos they were constantly shining lights into the audience. I would have preferred to see some photos that were more recent - at the end of the day Bryan still looks fine now - so why not? Maybe it's the marketing men again. As far as the "smoking" pic goes, I think that he gave up years ago - seeing an artist with a cig on album photos wouldn't put me off buying it - doubt whether it would put other people off. I rather suspect that the majority of people buying Frantic will be adults rather than teens (who are into Westlife or whatever) anyway. Aleks LAUNCH - Your Yahoo! I'd put money on the fact that Jealous Guy and/or Avalon will make an appearance at the gigs. I too would like to see a Ferry show where he performs ONLY his solo/cover stuff - but it's just not going to happen. I'd be quite happy for him to do "Frantic" from start to finish, having said that he's got to cater to a cross-section of fans. I'd be interested to know if he gets fed up with performing Jealous Guy time and time again. Aleks LAUNCH - Your Yahoo!
