I submit, Ferry is Cruella De Vil! In drag!!! Cruella De Vil, cruelle de ville, if she doesn't scare you nothing else will. The world was once a better place until Cruel Ella, cru elle Devil. Kind of tempts me to jump into a Cadillac, meanly drive down Helltown, because she's grown so evil and rules the base. ;) In the other state, the one considered 'his norm - sans spikes' (by most), Ferry is rather benign. But I do find Cruella more interesting, though. More complex. So, Ferry is a man - most likely. Is wealthy - don't know. Is tasty - my lips are sealed. "Someone needs to give that kid a talking to." I'm sure Isaac has had some. Perhaps he needs to have thinking ears to listen to what he has been trying to say, instead! This is absolutely true - I saw the "Bryan Ferrett" battery powered things in a store myself before Christmas. Tacky items but quite amusing. Aleks Yahoo! Prior to late last year, I never cared for Psalm, either. Too "weird", yes even for Roxy. Then, within a short span, I acquired the Musikladen performance and it was discussed as a SOTW. The performance is just mind-blowing--BF at his most emotive, with fluttering eyes cast heavenward, lovely Andy oboe. The list discussion, as I recall, indicated an affection for Psalm by many Avalonians (and lot of debate about Bryan's spiritual side). I do prefer the live version over the studio with Welsh choir thingy; one ought to seek this out before passing judgment! Appearing at Number 30 is Roxy Music, For Your Pleasure Arnie I've had my subscription since the mid 70's and have not given up on it...yet. I guess we should be grateful that at least there was even a mention of Roxy. I thought In Every Dream Home would have been the "cool" song. What could cooler than an inflatable love doll floating in a new pool? On a personal note: I wonder why the Brides of Funkenstein was chosen over the Chocolate City, Clones of Dr. Funkenstein, AND The MotherShip Connection. Those P-Funk albums were way cooler and they funked like crazy. Jas PS: Congrats to Halle Berry and Denzel Washington!
