I spoke to Mr Ferry after the 1st Newcastle gig on the "As Time Goes By" tour and suggested he come to Edinburgh some time. He said he hadn't played there for ages. It just took a little gentle persuasion from "The Firm" to get him to come. Note that (from the roxyrama mailing list);- Tickets can be purchased from Ticketweb: http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user/?region=uk&query=search&category=misc&search=&be ginmonth=06&beginday=1&beginyear=2002 I've got mine. You can buy tickets to the seated area (it's VERY small - I guess a few thousand seats at most), or tickets to the gardens which are much larger. I guess if you are in the gardens there will be no chance of hitting the front as the seating area is fenced off. It's a splendid venue on Edinburgh's main street with Edinburgh Castle for a backdrop. They have a classical concert there every year during the festival with stunningly spectacular fireworks launched from the castle. See you in Edinburgh. Alister. What a hoot - the thought never crossed my mind that there probably exists an element which might actually believe that Bryan Ferry may host a website incognito! - And what better name for his site than "Always Unknowing"! Please, do tell - are there some stories you can share with us about this amusement? I bet they make you smile! "I'll still be around, I'll still be active, I'll still be treeing and I'll probably still be obnoxious, but not worrying about stuff as much." Grant, you are never obnoxious. Your spirited thoughts always make me think, so I am happy to hear that you'll still be here (and I hope some capable soul with come forth and continue your under-rated site).
