I would agree with you, Colleen, under normal circumstances that is true. But I have to question the fact that (correction on my previous email) four times this worm mail was delivered to Avalon, then two more worm mails were sent to Avalonians via private email. The nature of the worm would be to email those in your address book automatically. If this tim tuck, or what ever his name, were not a regular or former member, he would not have our individual email addresses in his database for the worm to email. I suspect ill will because this tim tuck has not, to my knowledge, posted to our group before, and yet has successfully sent worm mail to many of us outside the scope of Avalon List. Worms can be deliberately sent to recipients - that is how they are started in the first place. Anyone who gets the email and attachment is able to send the worm mail along to anyone they wish, without ever being infected with the worm themselves - sort of like, I see a nail on the road, I avoid it but place it in a part of the road bed where I know it is likely to be picked up by someone else's tire.
