I guess it's just me, since nobody else has brought it up, but the only thing I hear in this song is drugs. The lyrics sound like he's personalizing and addressing both cocaine itself and someone the singer knows who is a user (possibly a fellow user), and the music, which begins as a smooth wash of synths but becomes increasingly oppressive towards the end, help to convey increasing desperation and loss as use of the drug continues. I seem to remember in the early '80's AA asked BF to produce his album. 2. AA I think did his college disertation on Roxy and the album covers, always cited them as a big influence as all "new romantic" bands did at the time 3. Gary Tibbs was the bass player in the AA band after Flesh & Blood. Disclaimer: all of the above could be wrong but unless my imagination is going to overdrive I must remember it from somewhere. Don't know how Maggie May fits in, though. Haven't searched deep enough to find out if TGPT is part of the album or current tour. China CRISIS are indeed on the "Here and Now" tour - so they haven't gone to HEAVEN. I understand that it may not be the original line-up - so you may wish to hold back before rushing to buy your tickets.....but of course you are entitled to your opinion of them. The line up apparently is Adam Ant, Belinda Carlise, ABC, Norman and Keeble ex Spandau Ballet (don't know if Tony Hadley is with them), Howard Jones, Toyah and China Crisis. Having seen ABC, Spandau and China Crisis live before I thought they were all very good - but thats just my opinion. Aleks Send FREE video emails in Yahoo!
