It's a cold,rainy and dreary day in Chicago, BUT here's something the Chicago area fans ( okay Indiana. Michigan , Wisconsin) can do brighten up the day. WXRT in Chicago is featuring the music of Bryan and Roxy Music along with Mark Knopfler(?) and Dire Straits. Let's call, fax,or e-mail requests for them to play. No not Dire Straits( they play enough of them already).Those familiar with XRT will know they will play the obvious ones, LITD, Oh Yeah, Avalon, etc. so don't request those. In fact Skafish mentioned this morning that the thought the Roxy concert at the Allstate Arena in July ( was it that long ago?) was one of the two best concerts he's been to this year.
