Once those initial people have their discs I'm sure they'll announced they're ready to tree the show. There are other things going on right now - some of us have families and can't burn during every idle moment - and - there "may" be other material on the burner schedule as well, as Grant mentioned. I really thought it was a "real" mail. It had an attachment. It turned out to be an empty mail with an empty attachment (txt-file 0 byte). > > I have virus protection, but would be glad if anyone could tell me if I have got the badtrans and spread it. > > Ole-Petter > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Kari Solberg > To: > Sent: Friday, November 30, 2001 4:22 AM > Subject: [AVALON] Viruses > > > > Dear all, > > > > Got my computer back and now it is virus-free! I got to know that I was, when I tried to send an answer to Bryan O'Connor! I tried very hard to open the attachment, but I couldn't read it, so I had to write and ask for more information! I was so excited and oh, so silly! First I got my mail, addressed to just "Bryan O'Connor" in return from Mail Delivery System, but in their message I could read his email address with the @ and all. It was when I sent this, everything started! I think I read "on behalf of "W32/BadTrans...", but I'm not sure, my technician has deleted it. I had not heard about the virus yet! At the same time I sent the second one, I got 25 emails in my inbox! Most of it was warnings about the virus from Postmaster. Mail Delivery System and two from Antivirus who told me "InterScan E could not clean it" and the other said "clean failed - deleted"... No harm was done to my computer, but it was not easy to get rid of that little devil! ...But isn't it a bit striking that the subject is the same we have used ourselves, as you got "Fjord Pleasure and I got "Copenhagen"?! It's so weird!
