Frankly, I think it's a very Roxy topic and more relevant in that it relates to actual Bryan Ferry work product as opposed to imaginary setlists for an imaginary concert tour for an album that we don't know the contents of at this time. The conversation has been going on off-list but if anyone wants to bring it on-list, I think it's highly relevant. Like many others, I'm not privvy to this group off-list conversation, so I can't comment on it beyond what I had access to. Therefore, I was basing my comments on the link Grant had provided and his treatise, the most controversial part of which seemed to be less about the portrayal and iconography of women in the music and on the covers of Roxy and more about who hasn't put whose artwork of which bootleg on whatever website. That is the kind of stuff which I do not think needs to spill over into onlist conversation. Wishing and dreaming can co-exist but I was concerned that it was being said that discussion of cover art should stay off-list. As for irrelevance, I have been known to head down that path often myself, witness most recently my attempt to start some discussion of Greatest Live Band In The World.
