Having read several posts about possible set-lists for the next BF solo tour, I am kind of curious what the people on this list would suggest for any forth-coming (dreaming!!!) Roxy Music album? Personally speaking, I feel that they have taken the Avalon period as far as they could, but I would find it most interesting to hear how they would translate something along the lines their first offering back in '72 to nowadays. Now, bearing in mind the expertise and experience they have acquired over the years, and the very different musical directions they have taken since, IMHO, any ensuing Roxy Music project along those lines would be anything but stale! And not only that, IMO, that would be a true swan song; going full circle, back to their roots... am I alone with that thought? Opinions, please... and if we shout loud enough... who knows (dreaming again, lol!!) But on the website it has been remarked that the preparation for the broadcast wasn't finished in time (instead, Ferry's 99 Golders Green gig is going to be re-broadcast), so the date has been rescheduled for the 5th of November, if I remember correctly. I'll check again. If I find the time, I'll try to record it and in case it works out, it could be another CD-tree, who knows. I saw them on the tour but wasn't overly thrilled. I was falling out of the band around then. Dave Gahan is still so SEXY onstage - I saw them three times on the Exciter tour and whoa, he can still shake his butt. *drool* I don't know if it was *the* tour of that year, but the Pet Shop Boys tour in 1990/91 was incredible.
