First, is a repeated plea from yesterday. The artwork on Heather's wonderful site is #ucked up. My disc 1 plays track 11 as In Every Dream Home A Heartache and track 12 as Tara. The Artwork is the other way around. This upsets me:( Also, what's up with the 3 hidden tracks number 10, 11 and 12. They are not listed on the artwork. Which show are they from? 10. Both Ends Burning 11. Mother Of Pearl 12. For Your Pleasure Help! (as The Beatles say). I know there are more important things going on in the world but after 3 horrible days it's time to get myself distracted for awhile on something I think we all find great joy from. Thanks, Rockin' Rod NP. Yes, it appears the names are switched around for Tara and Dreamhome. 2. I asked the same question here, and was told the tracks are from one of the Wembley shows, as Bryan dedicates MOP to the late Dr. Simon Puxley. I can't personally tell you which date, as that URL in Those Vintage Years does not seem to be working. Karen NP: KTPG!!! My radio station played Virginia Plain tonight, and now I am able to listen to Roxy again without feeling guilty for taking refuge in pleasure. ___________________________________________________________________________ The subliminable footer says: To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 13 Sep 2001 23:40:12 EDT From: KarenASwenson@aol.com Subject: [AVALON] Valentine/Vintage I'm wondering... Are Valentine and Vintage worthy of their $20 per price tag? Are the tracks identical for the video and audio portions? Will they play on a Mac? The ongoing discussion of Psalm has my curiosity piqued bigtime. Was there some sort of video tree on Avalon, and what does it contain? And, of course, is it still available? A recent test on the Internet made me a Neo-Pagan, but I do believe in right and wrong, in good and evil. While Neil Finn har touched on religion more then once Ferry has only touched on it with "Psalm" (that I can remember). I did not like "Psalm" was I was a teenager, I like it better now. I am now sure that Ferry write auto-biographical songs. It is a danger with that notion that all songs come from writer's own experience. Olle Ljungstrvm, the most acclaimed Swedish singer-songwriter of his generation, wrote a song which title translates into "An ordinary day on heroin" and everybody thought for years that he was addicted--some still do.
