This way we came to a great introspection of Songs like SFE, each one of us apporting his different point of view. Okay, Serenade is one of my faves on Stranded, together with Just Like You, SFE, MOP, Sunset, Street Life and Amazona. On Siren I've always liked particularly She Sells, though I know not many love this song. why? I won't feel offended. I remember because I had a taxi booked in time to get me back home to watch it (pre home taping being widely available) & it was late! but I did make it. All I remember of it is Andy sliding under Barrie Masters legs (ooer missus) playing his sax solo, brilliant stuff. Try Reecey's shed, there must be a copy in there somewhere! When you say I like the wierd stuff, you don't know the half of it! Cilla's "What Good Am I" sits comfortably in my all time top 100, I've never had much taste.. Hi Nice article in Get Rhythm magazine. No new news really but amusingly ends as follows (sorry don't have time to transcribe the lot): GR:If this tour goes well, would you consider going on the road again in the future? PM: Well it really depends on how we feel. There's no pressure for that to happen, you know, and I think the way that this came together was sort of naturally, there was a right time. If there's a right time - I don't know how the others feel - then something could happen. BF: I'll have to consult my horoscope, I can't answer that one. AM: I don't think we'll do another big tour, I think this is the chance for people to come and see us. BF: We're planning to fall out on the 30th September. [laughter] PM: That's right, and we're hoping to film it and then we can carry on as a mini series. Like a sort of Big Brother musical! [laugter] Regards, Andrew PS The review of Concerto is "interesting". It starts: "I swear Brian (!) Ferry is stalking me. Never has a band released an amount of CDs that can so accurately be called a glut. Best ofs, B sides, out-takes (where?!) and now this second live album (is that right?) in as many months....." There's then some grudging positive remarks but then ends thus: "That said, a word of advice to all record companies - STOP RELEASING ROXY MUSIC COMPILATIONS OR I INVADE PARIS AT DAWN! I MEAN IT!
