I can post letters and parcels here to catch the late post (5:30 pm) and they've been known to be delivered in Wales, Manchester and Liverpool first post next morning - truly C19th levels of service. I don't own the new album and they did a lot from it, but then they made me happy with a bunch old songs. Set list, hmmm... for the oldies: Walking in My SHoes Personal Jesus Black Celebration Never Let Me Down In My ARms Clean In My Room ... that's all I can think of at the moment. For those going to see Roxy at Merriweather... I'd really love to meet up ahead of time, but I have to work that day and won't get out with enough time to Metro home, get the car and get to a place near Merriweather to see everyone- was wondering if people were up for a "seond mini-gathering" inside the Pavillion- like near the second stage behind the main concession stand? I feel like there are a bunch of mindless sheep out there and since I see the stuff everywhere it seems passe. When I decorated my last office all I could find in stock were picasso and monet; I special ordered some JWM Turner and waited a few weeks for them to come in, but the result was satisfacory. The manager where my husband works refers to that dress as the "skunk dress". I'm not sure what I will end up wearing, after all. Jon's brother and wife are trying to patch things up, and he really wants to stay there; I think it will be crowding them too much under the circumstances. I may end up in shorts and a nice blouse. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ___________________________________________________________________________ The subliminable footer says: To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 9 Jul 2001 18:02:59 EDT From: Helchat@aol.com Subject: [AVALON] Re: Marcia That is really a long way to go after the show and the other festivities. They had lights in the shapes of rectangles onstage. There was a projection screen in the back. They showed a movie during It's No Good - Dave is in a coffee shop but then Martin and Fletch walk in and the waitress leaves with them. There were what looked like Christmas lights which descended down for certain songs. There were slow moments but overall, they were great. Dave can certainly shake his butt. >Walking in My SHoes >Personal Jesus >Black Celebration >Never Let Me Down >In My ARms >Clean >In My Room Plus (not in any particular order): The Bottom Line (which Martin switched for Dressed in Black and some other song at other shows) Home Breathe Dead of Night When the Body Speaks Free Love I Feel Loved Easy Tiger It's No Good Halo Enjoy the Silence (AWESOME version - the best part of the shows!!!)
