Hello Well this is where all that algebra from secondary school comes into play. Thank you Mr. Madden*. Yes, at the moment there are 47 officially sanctioned and announced shows, of which the first 15 have already been performed. That of course leaves 3, unless Sydney gets a second show because of demand, which is very possible, and then that would leave us with just the 2. The Australian seats went on sale yesterday, July 6th. Originally, from what I was to understand, it was a negotiated 50 shows. No more / no less. As of this "moment" I do not think there has been any official change in that, but of course time will tell. Bliss. The version on Siren is the worst track on that album. Ferry sounds like he's phoning in the solo from somewhere (the performance is good, I don't like the way it's recorded), the string synthesiser is horrible and the whole thing lacks energy. The Viva version is all that the Siren version should have been. ISTR that Roxy went back to 16 track for Siren - too many overdubs and bounce-downs on that track ? Just my two penn'orth... Ferry just not ever interested in being a part of the movie scene? With his looks & his singing . Or is he afraid of not being good. We all know how long it takes him to finish anything. Plus IMO he would want to control what went out ,which could delay shooting a movie. Producers never like to many delays , to much money at stake. Any thoughts on this anyone? I purchased a pair of tickets for the July 21 Boston show in section 2, row BB (see for Ticketmaster's seating chart) from Ticketmaster.com since there was a bit of uncertainty surrounding the fruition of the Atlanta date. I will know by Tuesday, July 10 if I will be attending the Atlanta show instead. Thus, I *MAY* have a pair of tickets to the July 21 Boston show to sell. I would like to sell this pair of tickets at the price I paid Ticketmaster for them plus the charge of Federal Express overnight shipping (roughly $15 for continental US delivery) to the buyer. Please send e-mail to me if you are interested in purchasing these two tickets. All the best, Porter Roberts ___________________________________________________________________________ The subliminable footer says: To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ End of avalon-digest V6 #291 **************************** ======================================================================== For further info, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: info avalon-digest
