I met the band ! decided to attend the final uk gig and I am so pleased I did ! I managed to blag my way in to the after show party ( not the one in the restaraunt area but the REAL one ) couldn't believe I was in the same room as AM, PM, also Lucy (who was smaller than I had thought but "stunning"). Managed to get round all the band except TGPT ( not at the party )and the bass player -Colin Good looked younger in real life and was very jovial . AM had a cool blue suit with PM sporting an orange shirt with black dots and what looked to be a ginger tint (hair) why? I was stood by the bar taking it all in when out of the blue appeared Mr Cool himself immaculately garbed jacket blue shirt/tie not sure what trousers but brown suade shows ) with a bottle champagne in one hand and a glass in the other . Could it happen to me ?The next instant he had been ushered away out of the room to the stage area . Had I missed my chance to meet and speak with my idol ? should I stay or should I go? Then it happened , Mr Ferry returned and we (my friend and his wife complete with her palputations) "grabbed "him . Cool ? may be not but all I can say is that Mr Ferry is one good guy . he listened to us praising him re the Sheffield gig and was completely relaxed and "warm". I am sure that I will be viewed as severely uncool when I say that Bryan signed my Wembley ticket (with his own pen -can you believe that ) and wished us a safe return to Sheffield . Am i still dreaming -walk on air .
