Ferry's version didn't sound anything like the Lennon original, but was very interesting if you enjoyed the sort of sound scapes that he used on the "Taxi" album. I can't recall who actually played on this track, though I have heard it said recently that it featured Wetton on bass and Thompson on drums. I may be wrong but I think that this may be a little wide of the mark. Personally I found it quite interesting when I heard it, though that was only once. Hope this has been of help, Tom. ___________________________________________________________________________ The subliminable footer says: To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ End of avalon-digest V6 #232 **************************** ======================================================================== For further info, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: info avalon-digest
