Okay, this part I don't get. You're in the midst of a Scottish homecoming, sitting in a Glaswegian brochure-posh establishment, and you drink... a mass-marketed Tennessee blend? -wfs ___________________________________________________________________________ The subliminable footer says: To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 14 Jun 2001 20:22:34 -0400 (EDT) From: gardner@onmail.co.uk Subject: [AVALON] =?ISO-8859-1?Q?Re:_=5BAVALON=5D_Sarah_Brown?= In Glasgow there didn't seem to be any kind of rapor between her and Mr Ferry - and apart from a weak performance on Avalon I can't remember hearing her make any sound at all - another thing - I thought she looked too haughty... so there! ___________________________________________________________________________ The subliminable footer says: To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 14 Jun 2001 20:26:03 EDT From: KWil632057@aol.com Subject: Re: [AVALON] Sarah Brown I doubt Fonzi and co are responsible for the 'low quality tracks that made up Avalon.' I think you'll find Avalon to be a superb lp and the tour one of epic brilliance. His name is Bryan, and was in fact, named after the great one. In fact, the first time I saw Bryan Ferry play a live show, was at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington DC in 1988. I was pregnant with my son at the time. The day I discovered that Bryan Ferry was touring that year is the same day I found out I was pregnant. - --gina ___________________________________________________________________________ The subliminable footer says: To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 15 Jun 2001 00:40:40 -0500 From: jas2347@speedsite.com Subject: [AVALON] Two a t the zoo, Date: Thu, 14 Jun 2001 13:52:36 EDT From: AMeyersLD@aol.com Subject: Re: [AVALON] bringing the kids? I am taking her to see Richard Thompson, though... Andrew in Chicago ...and you will see me there too. Lions, and tigers, and bears, oh my. I'm sure the young Ms. Myers will enjoy. Concocting and mixing the Roxy cocktail will have to wait until a later date :)))) Can't wait for Roxy to land here. It's good to hear how well they are being received across the big pond. I hope they pull out a few surprises here instead of just playing the "hits"...not that that's a bad thing.
