These are both great Smokey Robinson and the Miracles tracks and I'm sure he could put a new spin on them both. In fact either of these could lead ( or follow) End of the Line in a show. Conan's show is on late (11:30 for me), but he is very entertaining and his musical guests over the years has been very ecclectic and very good. At least HE does show some interest in the bands and in most cases a fan of them, just like us. He is MILES beyond the Kinear guy who is opposite him. You will notice that he has the coolest band on TV lead Max Weinberg. Even Bruce Springsteen made a "surprise" visit as a favor to Max last year before his tour. As far as Jay Leno is concerned, yes he does have have his little stories, but he is never smarmy or snide to his guests like Letterman. Letterman thinks he is just too smart for television. I used to like him when he was on NBC, but since he moved to CBS, I barey watch it with the exception of seeing who the muscial guests are. I do hope Roxy makes maximum exposure on as many tv shows as the can when they get here. More of America needs to see/hear what we have known for a long time. Does Bryan owe me anything? No. I did appreciate him being very gracious to his Chicago fans after this last visit here. THIS fan in particular was extremely grateful for his time and the bemused expresssion on his face when I mentioned sneaking into his limo 20 years ago to get his autograph. No, he did not remember our chance encounter, but that was okay. He made up for it by signing a copy of Musician Magazine that I had saved for 20 years with him in the leather suit. A real artiste and a true gentleman.
