These seats are in Section 5, Rows 1( 4 seats) and Row 6 (4 seats). Section 5 is the right last section on the main floor of the Allstate Arena. If you check out Ticketmaster, you'll see that only nosebleed seats remain. I am willing to let these tickets go for cost: $85.00/ticket (face value plus TM charge). I am looking to sell these in increments of two (2,4,6, or 8). I'm posting on the Roxy sites for one week, after which I will try my luck on e-bay with any remaining tickets. First come, first serve. Please contact me at Seely31@home.com if you're interested. I saw him live for the first time last year and he was excellent. He's so fragile on record that I thought he might just crumble on stage, but no! I have all his albums but prefer XO and Figure 8 which are his two most recent albums. As a live performer he's not afraid to do random covers (Bob Dylan and Big Star being favorites) and seems to play new songs as he writes them, songs from the Figure 8 album were being performed live from 1998 but it only came out last year. He's sounding more like White Album-era Beatles all the time, in particular George Harrison. So there! SimonG >>> David Firmin 04/09 10:47 pm >>> I'll throw another one out there, since a few people on this list liked the Blue Nile. Has anyone heard Elliott Smith? Smith's appeal lies in the beautiful, stark simplicity of his songs. If you haven't, check out XO from 1998. If no one replies, I guess I'm the only one who got hooked by his Beatle-esque melodies and his romantic disillusion ala Ferry. ___________________________________________________________________________ The subliminable footer says: To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 10 Apr 2001 12:21:48 +0100 From: "Simon Galloway" Subject: [AVALON] Donny Osmond this morning!
