Hi, If you go to the Avalonsite (http://home.op.se/opse3503) you'll see that the site has moved. You can now find it at http://www.roxytalk.co.uk. The biggest change, however, is the change of management. I simply haven't got the time to run the site any more, so I've asked the very capable Chris Turner to take over, which he graciously agreed to do. It's been great fun to build the Avalonsite, and I want to say a BIG Thank You to everyone who has contributed to it - you're the best! Let There Be Roxy:- Following the announcement in mid-Feb. that they were reconvening for more wacky musical adventures, Bryan Ferry, Phil Manzanera & Andy Mackay-aka ROXY MUSIC- look set to have a "Best Of Roxy" out on Virgin, to coincide with their six-venue UK arena tour starting in early June. The CD is likely to have 18 or 19 tracks & include all the bands hits such as Love is the Drug & Dance Away & will come with some stunning artwork. In addition, it's been mooted that the band could be back in the studio to record a new album as early as October, possibly even bringing Brian Eno into the fold for the project. A live CD from their upcoming tour as well, while BBC sessions from the 70's could find there way onto the autumn release schedule, along with Ferry's latest solo effort (with Eno aboard) At least one of the shows is likely to be filmed for future video or TV presentation.
