Since he favors British art from 1900-1945 maybe look for him at any Boston-area galleries with collections in that area?? ___________________________________________________________________________ The subliminable footer says: To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 20 Mar 2001 03:49:43 -0000 From: "Le Bonster" Subject: [AVALON] USA ticket prices >What are you guys finding are the ticket prices for the Roxy shows here >in the US? I see Ida's rundown of prices for LA... Two tickets for the Boston show: $182.60 with fees. OUCH. Needless to say, I have already asked my boyfriend to pay me back for his ticket. This one is NOT on me! Perhaps I can convince the band to stay in Chicago an extra day... Andrew, wading through books of British 20th Cen. That's pretty southern. :) BTW, if this info is wrong, don't kill me - I got it from sonicnet.com.: http://www.sonicnet.com/news/story.jhtml?genreNameForDisplay=Rock&genreDirecto ryName=rock&id=1441831 This kind of leaves Cleveland out of the picture, I guess. That's disappointing. That would be right in the center. Good for me! I checked the 35$ seats and most of them went quick. And i also have a ticket in the 5th row center sec. aisle seat for Montreal. Ordered my Greek tix on sunday. Chastain *IS* the only location that should accommodate Roxy Music- Bryan Ferry last performed there in 1988. We do have a "Roxy" theater, but Chastain is a far more romantic venue.. It's a gorgeous amphitheater in beautiful Chastain park- people often bring candleabras and gourmet dinners and wine.. I was mucho afraid that after Atlanta was left out of the ATGB tour we'd never have a shot at seeing Roxy here.. Southern Avalonians.. perhaps we should do some planning...?! greggie/atlanta now playing "Victim of Stars" by David Sylvian - -----Original Message----- From: owner-avalon@smoe.org [mailto:owner-avalon@smoe.org]On Behalf Of ByrneHead1@aol.com Sent: Monday, March 19, 2001 11:51 PM To: avalon@smoe.org Subject: [AVALON] Atlanta date Hello all, I'm hearing a lot of moping [justified, mind you] about the lack of southern dates, but they are playing Atlanta on July 26th.
