They save some frustration and much time that I would otherwise have spent. Perhaps someone could help me here. It seems that season ticket holders at several venues have exclusive rights to their reserved seats for all or most events. I presume this is one reason why the best seats are not available for sale to the general public. My question is: How does one go about securing, from the individual season ticket holder, their seats for a specific occasion? Do these venues have an internal service for their seasonal patrons who wish to sell their unwanted seats for an event - at a price not greatly above the single admission price of like seat for that event? I do not wish to purchase overly price-inflated tickets that are available through scalpers and resale agents, if possible. Can anyone help me by providing information on how the 'system' works regarding season-held seating? Does anyone have info particular to Merriweather Post Pavilion, Columbia, Maryland? Thank you. Ferry was particularly pleased with the success of the ATGB Stately jaunt and as most chosen venues accommodated @ 8,000 it fits with the pattern of the already announced British venues. But the dates are already pretty shoehorned together with the jump from Britain to the States leaving little time for a European leg of the tour, where I believe the idea of Festivals has been mentioned. Then it's supposed to be on to Japan and Australia. Also, I don't know how far in advance the promoters would have to book the Stately Homes, I would suspect most Summer dates are already taken. And, I think everyone in Britain would hope that the foot and mouth crisis will be contained by then, it's absolutely heartbreaking with unaffected flocks coming up for lambing season now being slaughtered as a precaution and farmers loosing their livelihoods over night. Were you planning on coming over for any of the British dates Andrew? If so e-mail me off list. If not, have a brilliant time in Chicago you guys on my birthday!
