I can't believe I paid $35 plus shipping about 2 weeks ago to get the Live In Paris DVD (a Canadian import) and now it's going to be available in the US for $14. Reminds me of the old days in the late 80s when as sure as I would break down and by an import CD, it would soon be released domestically. But continuity is a good thing, right? UPDATE I am sure this will have been said and well corrected before this letter gets out but just in case. The Roxy Music New York City date of July 23, 2001 is NOT being held at the Madison Square Garden "Arena". It is being held at much SMALLER Madison Square Garden Theater which holds about 4500 to 5500. It is part of the same complex but not the canyon of the Garden. Sorry if I may not have mentioned that delineation earlier. Seems when I posted the New York date the work "Theater" was cropped. So much for my speedy powers of "cut and paste" See all is well. Nice and small but still a nice size venue. I was personally hoping for Radio City myself being all art deco and drippingly romantic. But there is actually a larger amount of "better to good" seats at the MSG Theater. I hope to see you there. Time conquers innocence ( when ) pride take a fall .did some one mention Stranded? In the height of my hurry to get the tour dates and out as soon as possible I did not spell out more clearly the venues in some of these cities where corporately named venues may sound very similar. In Boston It is also NOT the Fleet Center "Boston" "Arena" but the much smaller Fleet Pavilion by the water. About a 5000 + venue. Same bank as a sponsored name but a different venue.
