I don't usually do endorsements, but www.secondspin.com, who deal in second-user CDs, are offering free shipment to anywhere in the world for the next couple of days. I have used them a few times, and they are cheap and really good, especially if you are used to paying #15($22) for a disc, as we are in the UK. In fact I just picked up two Manzanera and Mackay releases for $11 the pair including shipping. It's a good opportunity to fill out your collection fairly cheaply, but it ends at 11:59pm MST Feb 10 (whatever MST is...) Music credits given to Michael Galasso. Strange! Wonder if Bryan's song will appear on soundtrack. This film has been recognized at Cannes Film Festival. I want to see (and hear) the movie! I'd imagined the Band section would have a mini-bio of the band members, especially some info on Mr Good Also that the audio section would play the sound without the image. Presumably the disc is "region-free"; there is some German text, "Freigegeben" etc. on the packaging. Sometimes my player falls into a mode where it will only play region-free discs for a while. I have to adjust the region-playing "hacked" part of my set-up screen several times to get it back to Region 1 or 2. Or just give up for a while and come back to it a week later. The higher the tech, the crankier the personality of the machine, I reckon. I just assumed there was some incompatibilty with my player. However I did eventually get the DVD to play throughout just by reloading it. Just in case you were expecting more..."The Band" is just a a shot of each memeber with name (they could've done a quick interview with each surely?). The "Audio" section determines what kind of speaker sound system is used (just in case that you thought it might be extra audio tracks as I did niavely). They always advertise before ticketsales starts. I'll keep my eyes wide open and mail to the list as soon as I know something.
